Fast Coffee!!!

This is a photo of The Daily Grind “Drive-Thru” in Seal Beach. I think they are one of the first coffee shops to have a drive-thru at several locations. This particular building used to be a Photo-Mat which was a drive-thru photo developing company. If you look closely at the picture of the door you will notice one of the employees posing.

I kind of like the idea if you are in a rush and don’t have time to stop. I went to such a coffee “place” during my very first trip to the States, near Seattle. Never got a chance to see another during my 6 years in San Francisco. Remind me a lot about some banks that have drive through to be attended. A picture of one of them could be cool too

They have a few of these scattered around southern California. Starbucks has one and I know of another drive-thru coffee shop in Laguna Beach but don’t know if it still open. I never see anyone there. I’ll just have to try it myself.

I love the Daily Grind. I do believe, however, they built this location (their first) from the ground up. Their Sunset Beach location used to be a Photo-Mat.
I think they’ve been serving coffee now for ten years in Seal Beach. Nice.
