Alone at the MetroLink station
March 30th, 2006
This is the Laguna Niguel MetroLink station where commuters park their cars and catch a commuter train to work. Southern California is not really known for using public transportation like Paris but we are trying to catch up to the rest of the world. I think most of the people in Southern California have cars unlike some other big cities.

Public transport can be very useful - especially when you live in a densely-populated city. The problem is when it doesn’t work properly.

looks all very shiny and new. I hope it will be well used by commuters…that said, I’m a bit of a hypocrite as i could easily take the bus to work, but choose not to.

Our public transport system is actually pretty good. I think it is our car dependency and vast area that is the problem.
