Another Sunset

sunset002.jpg

Today the sunset looked very brown. I think the wild fires to the north had something to do with it. This shot was taken at Aliso Viejo Town Center.

Heading into the Sunset

danapoint.jpg

This is a typical street in Dana Point. The city has many rolling hills that all lead to the ocean.

Suburban Cowboy

This is actually the first time I have seen someone riding a horse on this sidewalk. I took this on the same corner as this post.

More Palms

palms2.jpg

These are the same palm trees fron this post. These palm trees are part of new construction in Aliso Viejo. The construction is most likely a business building since Aliso Viejo is home to many tech companies including Buy.com, Qlogic and Qwest Software.

Just Planted

This is what a newly planted palm tree looks like. I guess they tie up the palms to keep them from falling off during transportation. Can you tell we like palm trees in Southern California?

Empty

This is Aliso Woods park in Aliso Viejo. It is empty now but on the weekends this is the place for youth and adult Soccer Leauges. You might remember this park from this post.

Sidewalk

Sorry this post is late.

With a sign this big you know this sidewalk is closed.

Oil Fields

oilfield.jpg

This is the Huntington Beach Oil Field. The location of this field is very interesting since it is right next to the Bolsa Chica Wetlands. Bolsa Chica is one of the last natural wetlands in California. Gas in Huntington Beach is a bit cheaper than most places in Orange County because of the oil field.

Follow the leader

poles.jpg

I pass this row of poles almost every weekend and I thought it was about time they joined the DP family. This was taken by the La Paz Sports Park in Laguna Niguel. The La Paz Sports Park consists of baseball and soccer fields and is next to Laguna Niguel Regional Park where you can go fishing, hiking or biking.
